The inaugural edition of the Doha International Music and Marching Festival, also known as Doha Tattoo, was officially launched on Tuesday evening at Katara Cultural Village. The event is held under the patronage of the Minister of Interior and Commander of the Internal Security Force (Lekhwiya), HE Sheikh Khalifa bin Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani. The opening ceremony was attended by Lieutenant General (Pilot) Jassim bin Mohammed Al Mannai, Chief of Staff of the Qatari Armed Forces, and HE Valdecy Urquiza, Secretary General of the International Criminal Police Organization (INTERPOL), alongside several senior officials and dignitaries.
Running until December 20, 2025, the festival showcases military music and marching performances by bands from Qatar and participating ensembles from a number of friendly and brotherly nations.
