The Amir, HH Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, attended the 2025 National Day Parade held this morning along the Doha Corniche, featuring extensive participation from Qatar’s military and security forces.
Also present were HH Sheikh Jassim bin Hamad Al Thani, Personal Representative of HH the Amir, HH Sheikh Abdullah bin Khalifa Al Thani, and HH Sheikh Mohammed bin Khalifa Al Thani. The event was attended by HE Hassan bin Abdullah Al Ghanim, Speaker of the Shura Council, alongside several Sheikhs, Ministers, dignitaries, heads of diplomatic missions, and visiting officials.
The parade began with the national anthem and an 18-gun salute marking National Day and the founding anniversary of the State of Qatar. This was followed by an impressive air show by the Qatar Amiri Air Force, showcasing strategic transport aircraft, helicopters, fighter jets, and multi-role helicopters.
A visual presentation highlighted the capabilities of the Qatari Amiri Naval Forces, including advanced naval defense technologies and coastal defense systems equipped with modern offensive and defensive solutions.
The procession featured infantry units from the Ministry of Defense, led by the Qatari Amiri Land Forces, Air Force, Naval Forces, Air Defense Forces, Military Police, and other branches, accompanied by armored vehicles, tanks, and air defense systems. Units from the Amiri Guard and Joint Special Forces, specializing in operations, also took part.
Security forces from the Ministry of Interior, including officers from various departments, colleges, and riot control units, showcased advanced patrol vehicles, supporting helicopters, and integrated security systems. The Internal Security Force (Lekhwiya) and officer platoons from multiple military branches followed.
The parade concluded with performances by international military bands from Oman, Jordan, Turkey, Kazakhstan, the United Kingdom, and the United States, along with Amiri Guard cadets, cavalry, and camel corps.
