His Highness the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani arrived today, March 31, 2026, in Abu Dhabi, the capital of the sisterly United Arab Emirates, on an official fraternal visit.

At the forefront of those welcoming His Highness the Amir and the accompanying Qatari delegation was UAE President HH Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan.

Also present at the reception were Vice President, Deputy Prime Minister, and Chief of the Presidential Court HH Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Ruler of Abu Dhabi and National Security Advisor HH Sheikh Tahnoon bin Zayed Al Nahyan, and Deputy Chairman of the Presidential Court for Special Affairs HH Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, along with a number of Their Excellencies the Sheikhs and senior officials.

His Highness the Amir is accompanied on the visit by HH Sheikh Jassim bin Hamad Al Thani, Personal Representative of the Amir; HE Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al Thani, Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs; HE Abdullah bin Mohammed Al Khulaifi, Chief of the Amiri Diwan; as well as several Their Excellencies and senior officials.

HH the Amir departed Doha earlier today, heading to Abu Dhabi as part of ongoing efforts to strengthen fraternal ties and cooperation between the State of Qatar and the United Arab Emirates.
