The Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of State for Defence Affairs, HE Sheikh Saud bin Abdulrahman bin Hassan Al-Thani, met with HE Yaşar Güler, Minister of National Defense of the Republic of Türkiye, during the latter’s visit to Qatar.

During the meeting, both sides reviewed the latest security developments in the region and exchanged views on current issues of mutual concern. They also discussed areas of defence cooperation and joint coordination in light of prevailing regional circumstances.

Several senior military and defence officials from both Qatar and Türkiye attended the meeting.
