Katara marked five decades of diplomatic relations between Qatar and Austria with a vibrant cultural event held at Hall 32, titled Culinary Arts. The gathering was organized in collaboration with the Austrian Embassy in Doha and highlighted the spirit of cultural exchange through cuisine and tradition.

Guests were treated to one of Austria’s most iconic dishes, served in an atmosphere designed to reflect the values of intercultural dialogue and humanitarian connection. The event underscored Katara’s ongoing commitment to promoting cultural diversity and fostering global understanding through artistic and culinary experiences.

As a tribute to the shared culinary heritage between the two countries, the Austrian Embassy presented the traditional apple strudel an emblem of Austrian hospitality alongside a specially crafted dish that blended Austrian and Qatari elements, symbolizing the depth of bilateral relations.
